Psychological States as Observed in Protozoa and Superstrings, 2004-present

Presented as pages from a scientific reference book, these individually mounted prints explore correlations, both whimsical and theoretical, between human psychological states and processes in the natural world.

Protozoa (simple, single-celled life-forms), Superstrings (theoretically the most elementary constituent of matter), cells created through nano-technology, star clusters, particle collisions and various other phenomena play roles in revealing symbolic parallels to the human condition.

Within each print the double-titling provides clues to other meaning and along with changes in the viewers interpretation as our perspective evolves from the rational to the subjective and back again.
